Friends, romans, countrymen..! My friend Armand has asked me to make a luggage-rack for his Savage, and I went down this forum to check the need of such a rack. It is true that I am a blacksmith, it is not just a nickname, and I'm now planning to produce some luggage-racks. The question is - what kind of lugagge-racks do you want ? Shall it be one that bolts on directly upon the sissybar, so you don't need to take the passenger seat away, OR do you want one that fits the holes of the sissybar, with the passengerseat removed, and do you want some kind of cover over the electric stuff, or will you try to squeeze them away somewhere ? I have the idea of a simple, durable but easy-to-install luggage-rack. One drawback is, that having them chromed is so bloody expensive that I will not even think of that here in Finland. Anyone on the list that can fix that in a convenient way ? Otherwise, they will be delivered unpainted. How large shall I make them ? They will be as cheap as possible. I will charge buyers 10 us$ (~12 euro)+ materials and shipping.
Now, what do you say ?
